MY Goldman Sachs EXPERIENCE

Once again, I get to Talk about my passion and commitment towards transforming lives and Inspiring change earlier today at the Goldman Sachs office, New York. It’s not every time you get invited by a Top Investment bank for a tour. 

I legit love traveling and meeting people but this years dignifying trips has been all shades of Graceful especially considering my being pregnant.

I can’t even front, am so inspired by the tour of the Goldman Sachs Head office in New York City.

I hear the The skyscraper was designed by Henry Cobb. Wow! Such can only Trigger Big Dreams. 

Thanks Brian for putting together the meet and Greet. It’s life changing.

The inspiring change conference 2018 Tagged “GAME CHANGER” isn't one to be forgotten in a hurry. As women troupe into the wisdom arena on Saturday April 7,2018 to be inspired by the various speakers.

This was the 5th of its kind conveyed by Sunmbo Adeoye, the Founder of Esob Heroes/ Inspiring Change Initiative and had in attendance notable guest speakers like The Founder of Real Woman Foundation, Pastor Nike Adeyemi, with a fired up GIRL TALK session panelists, comprising of The Senior Alaga Of Nigeria,Oluremi Samuel Akintola & the Brain Behind Naija brand chick/ Nelliesng, Nelly Agbogu.

It was a total life transforming experience as the Game changed for so many attendees.

Adesunmbo Adeoye, the convener whose vision is to empower women and transform the lives of those striving to take the lead in the market place, gave out cash grants and work tools to empower women in Business and encourage growth.

Some of those who benefited from the FREE empowerment this year, went home with N50,000 each and TOOLS like Standing hair Dryer, Electric Pop corn Machine, Power Generating set.

It was indeed an inspiring event.

MONDAY MOTIVATION

7 years ago, I resigned from my banking career to venture into a new line of business I knew nothing about.

Was I tired of the routine work? YES! 

Was I in need of a better remuneration? YES (before nko😃) who wouldn’t.

But the force that was working in my head was stronger than all the idea of becoming CEO.

I lost sleep, fasted, prayed. I even ran the idea through some colleagues who encouraged me to draw a business plan.

Soon after I put the vision down, I began to believe in the dream and gain clarity.

Was I scared? Hmmm! Heck YES I was. 

And to think I even resigned in January for that matter. I mean who does that? 

After all the “feferity” Of December.... I needed a bounce back pay. Can anyone relate? 

But I left anyway. This was few days to my son’s 5th year birthday. Hmmm! What am I doing? Am I crazy or what? 

Did I eventually get a better remuneration in my new chosen field? 

How did I survive starting a business without capital?

And was it a better routine compared to my 9-5 job? 

Hahahahaha.... you really should hear this.

In my life’s journey, especially academically, I’ve encountered some unnecessary waiting seasons that could have been averted if only I had a mentor. 

Can you believe I stayed home close to 5years after leaving high school, just to get admitted into the university? Im sure your jaw dropped and you may be wondering “what happened”? Well, “No, I wasn’t a dummy” neither was it for lack of funds....

We have taken it up as a mission through out the month of January to March 2018 to mentor as many as are willing to progress within the Agege community of Lagos and her environs.
